I tried to change cables, disable firewalls, access from different computers all cable-connected to my router , lighted candles and hung garlic necklaces on my cam With ports it can also be a restriction of your ISP. I found the solution. I set it and it works. I did the port forwarding in the router, and when I type in my ipcam web address, it shows me my router inernet IP address and the port which I forwarded t my cam. Again, many thanks for your help, I don’t know what I would have done without this article!

I have a couple more questions though! If I go into the settings they famera blank and if I click scan I get a message saying that I need at least visitor permissions. I don’t get alerts to my phone at all and cant get it to go to email. I don’t understand how to do that!

Device information indicates IP camera information. Yes it has an in-built email sending ability, see “Email Alerts” above. Wireless as oposed to pulgged into the LAN.
Anonymous January 8, at 9: The Wizard Mode won’t find it. I have tried hotmail easun Gmail with no luck. If so, where are those settings? By remotely I mean from outside your local network over the internet e. I haven’t sussed sound at all, I can’t find a mention of it in the admin pages but then they are a little esoteric!
