Ok will try to find one I can use it on. However it still doesn’t recognise the hard disk.

The performance difference between these two drives seem minimal. Right now I am satq using it as extra space, saata I will eventually put windows on it. And yes the SATA ports are enabled by default The download version of the manual had 9 appendices, A thru I. I was in for a 2 hour drive back to Frys. Do hit F6 when asked and don’t worry because it will only ask for the SATA drivers satq when starting to install windows, after coppying all the files from the CD.
